Stone care for lobbies, corridors and entries
Granite, marble, terrazzo, limestone, slate, concrete and ceramic, maintained or restored by AMS crews and polished naturally, without wax or sealer.
Why stone is not a floor you wax
Stone is the part of a building people notice first. A terrazzo lobby, a marble entry or a granite counter sets the tone before anyone speaks to a receptionist, and it shows wear faster than almost any other surface. Foot traffic grinds fine grit across it, and the shine fades into dull paths where people walk most.
The usual answer for a hard floor is a coat of finish, but stone calls for different treatment. A layered coating sits on top of the surface and hides the stone rather than bringing it back. AMS works the other way: the shine comes from the stone itself.

Polished naturally, without wax or sealer
AMS polishes stone naturally, which means no wax and no sealer. The result is a finish that is the stone's own, not a film laid over it. The list of surfaces is wide: granite, marble, ceramic polishing, terrazzo, limestone, slate, concrete and others.
Each stone behaves differently. Marble and limestone are softer and mark more easily than granite, terrazzo is a mix of chips set in a binder, and concrete sits somewhere else again. Knowing the surface before the machine touches it is most of the craft, and the crews who do this work in Fargo are trained on that point.
Maintenance first, restoration when it is needed
Stone work comes in two kinds. Maintenance is regular care that holds a good floor where it is, so the shine in a lobby stays even and the entry does not turn into a dull track. Restoration is the harder job of bringing back a surface that has been let go, worn flat by years of traffic or neglected between cleanings.
Which one your floor needs is easy to tell by looking at it. Call the Fargo office at (701) 235-4412 and describe what you have, or ask the nearest branch in Bismarck, Minot, Billings or Boise. Stone floors often sit beside hard flooring and carpet in the same building, so the work can be planned alongside the rest of your nightly cleaning.
